Burglar-proof fitting

Burglar-proof fitting Winkhaus, which is offered as an additional option, facilitates obtaining burglar-proof class suitable for the window. The locking system is based on mandrels shaped as octagonal 'mushrooms'. The mandrels work with standard catches or steel burglar-proof catches. They determine the level of burglar-proof security: the more steel catches, the higher burglar-proof level.

This system offers a freedom of choice: standard burglar-proof level can be increased to class 1 or 2. It is enough to replace a proper number of catches and add a certified handle with a key. It can be done even after many years of using the window.

Depending on your needs, we offer you the following:

Class 1 burglar-proof fitting - ENV 1627-1630 – protects windows from opening by physical force. To a small extent it protects from opening by tools enabling to lever up the sash.

Class 2 burglar-proof fitting - ENV 1627-1630 – protects windows from opening by simple tools, such as a screwdriver, pincers, wedges.

Class 3 burglar-proof fitting - ENV 1627-1630 – protects windows from opening by additional tools, such as an extra screwdriver or jemmy.
